  Jesus calls all who are weary and burdened to come to Him and rest. He also tells His followers we must take up our own cross. Is this a bait-and-switch? Or a riddle? It’s neither. The forgotten Christian doctrine of vocation will help us distinguish between and clarify these two unique callings from Christ.
